Mommy’s New Mitts – Free Easy Crochet Pattern
A few years ago I designed a pair of mittens for myself. I didn’t realize how popular the pattern would become, or that the yarn I used would become unavailable. I’ve had many requests for a replacement pattern and today’s free pattern is just that!
The original yarn I used has become ‘retired’ since the release of Mommy’s Simply Easy Mittens, I have redesigned my mittens using a different Bulky Weight Yarn. I used Loops & Threads Impeccable Yarn.
You may substitute Unique Yarn by Lion Brand as demonstrated in the Video Tutorial just be sure to watch your gauge. To watch the video on YouTube in HD please click HERE.

Hi, Rhondda! Yes, that helps immensely. Thanks so much!
Hi Kristen, I have separate patterns for other sizes of mittens:
https://oombawkadesigncrochet.com/daddys-simply-easy-mittens-free-crochet/
https://oombawkadesigncrochet.com/darlas-easy-on-mittens/
https://oombawkadesigncrochet.com/drews-easy-on-mittens-free-crochet/

Just ignore the button cuff part and seam the cuff instead and the patterns will give you a few other sizes to work with 🙂 Hope this helps! Rhondda
Hi! I was wondering if you would be able to tell me how to make these in small, extra large and double extra large sizes?
