The Coral Glam Wrap is a gorgeous, sparkly crochet wrap with stripes and corkscrew fringe. Free, beginner-friendly pattern using Glam Stripes yarn and a 4.5 mm hook. #crochet #freepattern

Edging Instructions

This is a very simple edging, although it does take a little bit of time to complete.

You will now work across the bottom/top edges.

Join your yarn with a single crochet join to the 1st dc (of a set of 3 dc sts)

In every dc stitch work:

  • 1 sc, ch 20; now work back along the 20 ch sts beginning in the 2nd ch st from your hook
  • Make 2 sc in each ch

In every ch3sp work:

  • 3 sc

In each dc st you will have a corkscrew and in each ch3sp you will have 3 sc sts.

Repeat this all the way across.

Once the one edge is complete, rejoin on the opposite end and repeat the Edging Instructions.

  1. Hi Brenda, it would be a bit bigger and a bit heavier if worked in Worsted Weight Yarn – I would recommend the same hook size as called for on the yarn label. The Paton’s Glam Yarn was a Sport Weight [2] yarn. There would be larger spaces between the stitch sets too. You could make it the same size though using the stitch multiple provided if you like how the stitches look in the Medium Weight Yarn. All the best, Rhondda

  2. How would this pattern work in a worsted weight yarn?
Thank you for your time and the pattern! It is beautiful!
