Weekend Makes: Crocheted Bags is 144-pages in length. It includes 25 quick and easy projects for a variety of crocheted bags.

You will find the table of Contents on page 6. The patterns included in the book were curated by Emma Osmond and are from a number of different Designers. The Tools and Materials section starts on page 10, Crochet Terminology and Abbreviations on page 12, Crochet Basics on page 14 and the Crochet Stitches are outlined between pages 16 and 25.

The Tools and Materials section explains the basic tools you may need to make your crocheted bag.

Crochet Stitches

All of the projects are written in UK crochet terms. The projects included range in difficulty level with patterns available in easy, intermediate and to requires experience.

If you are used to following US crochet patterns, don’t let the fact that these are written in UK terms hold you back! You can find the US equivalent terms on page 12 and since each stitch is explained in the Crochet Stitches section, with helpful diagrams, it is easy to double check how a stitch is being made.

I personally love the Patchwork Bag designed by Amy Parker. I love how the instructions are simple and easy to follow and the wide-range of crocheted bags included.
