The first book I took a look at was the Ultimate Beginner’s Guide to Crochet. This book includes a great introduction to the basic stitches used in Tunisian Crochet. Kim Guzman provides a step-by-step tutorial with photos to show you how to work:

This book comes with an added bonus! Throughout Short Row Tunisian Fashion you will find little orange cameras. Each time you see a little orange camera, this means there is a video tutorial available for the technique. Handy right?
Two short row techniques are explored in Short Row Tunisian Fashion. Kim Guzman provides detailed step-by-step instructions to walk you through the construction of wedges using both techniques. Video snippets are also provided to assist you with the short row techniques.
