Stitch: Third Dimension
Yarn: Red Heart with Love
Hook: 5.5 mm (I)
Finished Dimensions: 8 inch by 8 inch
Stitch Multiple: Chain a multiple of 4 stitches, plus an additional 2 stitches for the starting chain
Abbreviations: R – row, RS – right side, ch – chain, chs – chains, dc – double crochet, sc – single crochet, ch3 sp – chain 3 space, FPsc – front post single crochet
Special Stitches:
FPsc: Front Post Single Crochet – (you will be working around the post of a stitch) – insert your hook from the front of your work to the back of your work and back to the front around the post of the specified stitch; yarn over your hook and pull up 1 loop, yarn over and draw through both loops on your hook

Chain 34
R1 (RS): 1 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, * ch 3, skip 3 chs, 1 sc in the next ch *. Repeat from * to * across.
R2: ch 3 (Note: this counts as 1 dc), turn, 1 dc in the first sc, skip the next ch3 sp, * 3 dc in the next sc, skip the next ch3 sp *. Repeat from * t0 * across to the last sc. Work 2 dc in the last sc.
R3: ch 1, turn, 1 sc in the first dc, ch 3 * skip the next 2 dc, work 1 FPsc around the next dc, ch 3 *. Repeat from * to * across to the last 3 dc (remember the initial ch 3 from R2 counts as 1 dc). Skip the next 2 dc and 1 sc in the last dc.
R4: ch 3, turn, 1 dc in the first sc, skip the next ch3 sp. * 3 dc in the next FPsc, skip the next ch3 sp*. Repeat from * to * across to the last sc. 2 dc in the last sc.
Repeat R3 & R4: 8 times
Do not finish off – proceed to the Border.
Border:
ch 1, turn to work along the top edge of your square. 1 sc in each of the next 3 sts, 1 FPsc in the next st, * 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, 1 FPsc in the next st *. Repeat from * to * across to the last 3 sts. 1 sc in each of the last 3 sts, ch 1 turn to work along the side of your square
sc 25 times evenly along the row ends, ch 1, turn
1 sc in the corner st, skip 1 ch st, 1 sc in each of the next 2 ch sts, * 1 sc in the next sc, skip 1 ch st, 1 sc in each of the next 2 ch sts * repeat from * to * across, ch 1, turn
sc 25 times evenly along the row ends, ch 1, turn and invisible join to finish off.
I am working this pattern. Mine is wanting to go sideways. Is it me or just how the pattern goes until I block it. All my stitches match up and are even
