It’s time for our March Hat Patterns! If you missed our scarf patterns, which we released last Sunday, please visit last week’s post to get your 3 free scarf patterns.
This week I am sharing a hat pattern to match my Susannah Scarf.
The Susannah Beanie is crocheted from the crown of the hat, down to the brim, in one piece. It is easy to crochet and the finished hat is super soft. I have written the instructions to allow the hat to reach the base of the earlobe; that means the hat covers the nape of the neck. The perfect hat length for chemo caps.
If you would like a shorter hat length I have included information on how to do this in the instructions.

Hi
Just was wondering why we’re still making winter things and not spring and summer things. I haven’t worn a scarf all winter.
Surely there must be something to make that’s not too warm.
Thanks
Kate
Oh Good! I’m happy it worked. Thank you for letting me know! All the best, Rhondda
Please disregard my previous comment. I cannot see a way to delete it. The moral is…Persistence is key? I finally tried logging out of Ravelry and then adding the pattern to my cart. Doing this, the code finally took! Thanks for the amazing pattern.
Hi Nadine, I’m so sorry! I’ve fixed it! I clicked the wrong one on Ravelry when I created the promo. It is fixed now 🙂 Thank you for letting me know! Rhondda
I apologize! I’ve fixed it. Try again now please 🙂 Thank you for letting me know!! Rhondda
Hi. I can’t get the Susannah2020 code to work for the Susannah Hat on ravelry. The time is right, but the code isn’t working.
Such a gorgeous hat! 😍 The code for the beanie seems to only work for the scarf, not the beanie. I guess it hasn’t been updated from the scarf to the hat yet?
