Here’s how it works.
This Soft Cotton Openwork Scarf Pattern is simple to crochet and perfectly suited to warmer weather. This lacy crochet scarf is made with DK Weight Yarn and some easy beginner crochet stitches: double crochet (dc), treble crochet (tr) and chain stitches (ch). You can make this openwork scarf longer, or wider using the extra information I have included in the post. Find the full written crochet pattern, which is available for free, below.
Disclaimer: The yarn used for this project was given to me by King Cole.
King Cole yarn is available from your local yarn shop, or online at the links in my post below.

The Yarn I used for this project:
For my Soft Cotton Openwork Scarf I used 4 oz (114 g) / 261 yds (239 m) of King Cole, Cottonsoft DK Yarn [3].
This beautifully soft cotton yarn is perfect for warm weather garments. Each ball includes 100 g (3.52 oz) and 229 yds (210 m).
My finished scarf is incredibly soft and with the openwork stitches it has beautiful drape. This yarn will make beautiful garments and is well suited to baby crochet projects.
Cottonsoft DK is hand washable (30C) and it is available in 45 different shades. You will find muted pastels and brilliant jewel tones in this yarn collection. To see the shades available in Cottonsoft DK, visit this link.
