Finishing Instructions for All Hat Sizes:

  • Finish off leaving a 8 to 10 inch tail of yarn.
  • Close the top of the hat by weaving your yarn end through the front loops of the last round of stitches and cinching the top closed. See this tutorial for help.
  • If there is still a gap at the top, don’t worry! Turn the hat inside out and close the gap by making a stitch from the left side of the gap to the right side (pull to tighten) then from the top of the gap to the bottom (pull to tighten).
  • Weave in ends.
  • Add a pompom if you wish.
