The projects included are not all little ones either, there are some lovely garments and classic afghans included in this complication. Let’s take a look inside to see what 40+ patterns are included for just $9.99*.

Take a closer look at all the projects you can make here: Scrap Busting Crochet
These patterns are written in U.S. crochet terms and they range in difficulty from Beginner to Moderately Challenging Skill levels. The stitch counts are included at the end of the rows and rounds and Special Stitches are provided at the beginning of each pattern where they are used.
A helpful article has been included to explain how to make a magic ball. Handy for joining those scraps together into something you can work with easily.
A Stitch Guide is provided on page 95 and from page 96 to 98 you will find the Design Directory, Standard Yarn Weight System, Skill Levels and a Buyer’s Guide.
My favorite Scrap Busting Crochet projects are:
- Fantasy Garden Afghan (pictured on the front cover)
- Broken TV Shawl
- Chevron Scarf

I received this book as a gift last fall. Since then, I’ve made several of the projects as written and did my own take on a few others. It’s a great resource for busting your stash and letting your creativity shine!
I’d make the Broken TV Shawl first.
I love scrap busters, perfect for all the leftovers!
who does not have scrap yarn – great ways to use it up!!! Thank you!!
looks like a great way to get rid of so much yarn of which I have small quantities
I love the chevron scarf ! I already have this magazine cause there are so many awesome patterns in it I just couldn’t resist.
The Broken TV Shawl looks beautiful!
I have a huge scrap pile right now. I am going to check into this book. Thank you. Also I have always wanted to try socks would you review one of those books please
Oh my goodness! It’s amazing what can be made with scraps of yarn. Though my scraps are truly just a few yards, not half a skein. The Broken TV Shawl is gorgeous. I’d like for you to review Holiday Hug’ems if you haven’t already done so. Thank you Rhondda.
Make It in a Weekend or Less! looks like a great book to review next from Annie’s.
I’d like you to review “It’s a Stash-Buster Christmas!”
