Scheepjes Whirl Dandelion Munchies Giveaway!
When you purchase through links on my site, I may earn an affiliate commission.
Here’s how it works.
Do you know what today is? Today marks the 5 year blog anniversary for Oombawka Design Crochet!
That’s right, as of today I have been blogging and sharing my free crochet patterns online for five years.
It honestly does not feel that long to me because I love what I do 🙂 I enjoy creating patterns for you to crochet and I enjoy helping you find what you need online.
I even included a pattern look-up section in my new blog Free Crochet Tutorials. If you are interested you can check my new site out here: Free Crochet Tutorials.
Free Crochet Tutorials is a directory of sorts, except this directory is created from submissions from other great bloggers and crocheters online. If they have a free crochet tutorial available for a crochet stitch, technique or pattern, they can submit the information and link to Free Crochet Tutorials (with an image or two). Then you can visit Free Crochet Tutorials and search for a project or stitch you want to make and voila! you have options for tutorials you can try to learn the stitch or technique 🙂
I truly believe people learn in different ways. That means no matter how great a tutorial is it will only ever work for some learners. So why not have a place where you can find multiple tutorials for the same skill so if one of them doesn’t work for you you can try number two (or number 3!)?
I also include roundups of patterns and tutorials you can find online from other designers and bloggers. I only use images which I have received permission to use, or links to YouTube Tutorials where permission is granted through YouTube embed and sharing practices. You may also see a few images from online shops (like Etsy) where I am an affiliate and have been given permission through the affiliate partnership to share the images.
Free Crochet Tutorials is not one of those awful sites that just takes other peoples content and shares it without asking first. My goal was to create a place where you could find great crochet tutorials. Where you wouldn’t need to search through link upon link to find a reliable teacher and where you could even ask for a tutorial to be located and included in the collection.
Free Crochet Tutorials was created to help you find what you need. The final tutorial belongs to the designer or blogger who created it so it is not shared in full on my site. My site will just help you find resources you can use and other great blogs on the big world wide web. I hope you take advantage of all the great resources available and feel free to send me a message with questions or to request to be a submitter too! Check out Free Crochet Tutorials and let me know what you think 🙂 I’ve worked very hard on it and I hope you love it as much as I do! Rhondda

A Little Bit More About The Prize Pack:
Scheepjes Whirl Yarn
Color: Dandelion Munchies
This beautiful limited edition gradient yarn is made from a blend of 60% cotton and 40% acrylic. The projects you crochet will be lightweight and breathable. The fantastic twist to this gradient yarn allows you to work quickly and helps to prevent splitting.
Each 225 gram cake includes 1000 meters of yarn. The color changes are carefully tied to ensure the knot can be discretely hidden within your stitches.
The recommended hook sizes is 3.5 to 4.0 mm. The Whirl Yarn is available in 12 beautiful colors and if you need a little bit more of any one of the colors for the project you are making you can opt to purchase a small cake of Whirlette in that matching colorway!
