Special Stitches
Front Post Bobble Stitch (FPbo)
This long bobble is made around the post of the specified double crochet stitch. You insert your hook from the front, to the back and then back to the front around the post of the stitch.
Yarn over, insert your hook around the post of the next dc, from front to back to front and pull up 1 loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on your hook. You will have 2 loops on your hook. *Yarn over, insert your hook around the post of the same dc, from front to back to front, yarn over and pull up 1 loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on your hook**. You will have 3 loops on your hook. Work from * to ** 2 more times. You will have 5 loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through all 5 loops on your hook to complete the stitch.

Notes:
- Stitch multiple of 6
- When I work into the foundation chain, I prefer working into the back bar (back bump) of the chain. You can work under the back loop only if you prefer.
- Initial ch 3 counts as 1 dc.
- Initial ch 1 does not count as a stitch.
- Sk the dc behind the FPbo stitch.
- I rejoin my yarn in the first st using a standing single crochet stitch but you may join with a slip stitch, ch 1, and sc into the first stitch of the row instead if you prefer.
- To make this scarf longer, chain more stitches using the stitch multiple.
- To make this scarf wider, work more rows following the repeat set out in the pattern.
