Notes:
- This quick winter beanie (Rachel Beanie) is crocheted in continuous rounds. This means you do not slip stitch to join at the end of rounds. You may wish to use a stitch marker to mark your place.
- To increase, or decrease the hat height, simply add extra rounds (or omit rounds) of 1 sc in the BL of each st around (the rounds immediately preceding the final round of the hat). In each inch you have approximately 1.5 rounds. So for each round you add or remove you are adding or removing approximately ¾ of an inch in height.
- If you crochet tightly please go up at least 1 hook size to help you reach the gauge for the pattern.
- If you are substituting yarn for this pattern please double check your gauge before you begin to be sure the yarn and hook you are using provide you with 6 sc stitches in every 4 inches and 6 rows of single crochet (worked in the round) in every 4 inches.

If I win the furls sweepstakes, I would buy a lucet fork, yarn, and palette packs, as I already have enough hooks from them. I bought the hooks for my husband, who has bigger hands than I do.
