Gingham Tote Tykes Crochet Pattern Review
This month, Shady Lane Original Crochet Designs has given me a copy of her adorable Gingham Tote Tykes Pattern to review. This electronic booklet includes 14 pages of written instructions to make 3 lovely doll outfits and a handy carry tote bed to carry them around in.

The patterns use single crochet stitches (sc), double crochet stitches (dc) and half double crochet stitches (hdc) to make the projects.
Yardage: 6 oz white, 2 oz lavender and 2 oz dark purple.
Other supplies: Two 12 inches X 12 inches pieces of plastic canvas, Velcro (either 1 3/4″ strip, or 2 spots) and a small amount of fiberfill.
Written instructions are found on pages 5-8 and include patterns for the bassinet tote, mattress and handles.
STRIPED SET
Yarns: Baby Weight Yarn [3]
Crochet Hook: 3.50 mm (E)
Gauge: 5 sc and 6 sc rows = 1 inch
Yardage: 1.5 oz light peach yarn and 1.5 oz dark peach yarn.
Other supplies: 2 medium snaps.
Written instructions are found on pages 9-11 and include patterns for a dress, hat and shoes.
YELLOW ROMPER SET
Yarns: Baby Weight Yarn [3]
Crochet Hook: 3.50 mm (E)
Gauge: 5 sc and 6 sc rows = 1 inch
Yardage: 2 oz yellow yarn and 50 yards of purple size 10 crochet thread.
Other supplies: 5 medium snaps, 1.5 inch diameter rubber band or elastic cut to fit and sewn together at the ends and one 3/8 inch yellow button.
Written instructions are found on pages 11-12 and include patterns for a top, panties, headband and shoes.
VARIEGATED SET
Yarns: Baby Weight Yarn [3]
Crochet Hook: 3.50 mm (E)
Gauge: 5 sc and 6 sc rows = 1 inch
Yardage: 1 oz lavender yarn and 1.5 oz matching variegated yarn.
Other supplies: 4 medium snaps and 22 inches of 3/8 inch ribbon.
Written instructions are found on pages 13-14 and include patterns for a dress, bonnet and shoes.
