Twisty Mesh Infinity Scarf
An easy and quick mesh scarf – twisted then sewn together to make an infinity scarf 🙂
Twisty Mesh Infinity Scarf
Skill Level:
Easy
Materials:
- 1 x 50g light worsted yarn (No 3) – I used Elle Double Knit Timber color – Ancot
This such a lovely variegated yarn that it makes the easy mesh stitch just striking! - Size 4.00 mm
- Yarn Needle
Abbreviations:
DC – double crochet
CH – chain
SL ST – slip stitch
Gauge: Tension/Gauge is not necessary for this project to be perfect
Finished Size:
Approx 100 cm (this is due to the whole 50g ball of yarn used)
But this can be made in any length!
Notes:
To make any size – chain an uneven number plus 3
Instructions:
CH 28 (25 + 3)
FOUNDATION ROW: Work 1 DC into the 4th CH from hook; work 1 DC into each CH until end (26 DC), TURN
ROW 1: CH 4(counts as 1 DC and 1 CH), SKIP next ST; work 1 DC into next ST.
*CH 1, SKIP next ST; work 1 DC into next ST. Repeat from * until end, work 1 DC into 3rd CH of 3 CH, TURN
ROW 2: CH 4(counts as 1 DC and 1 CH), SKIP the CH space; work 1 DC into next DC.
*CH 1, SKIP next CH space; work 1 DC into next DC. Repeat from * until end, work 1 DC into 3rd CH of 3 CH, TURN
Row 2 forms the pattern
REPEAT ROW 2 UNTIL PIECE MEASURES LENGTH REQUIRED
LAST ROW: CH 3 (counts as 1 DC), work 1 DC into each ST until end; work 1 DC into 3rd CH of 3 CH.
Fasten off and weave in ends.
Lay piece flat and twist several times (as desired) then sew the two edges together
I added some brown flowers to match the scarf – these are literally scraps of yarn flowers found in my Scraps Bag 🙂
Enjoy & Happy Hooking!
