I have to admit I love all these blankets.  I have been thinking a lot about blankets and afghans the past few days as it has been getting colder here in Ontario – in fact today my children actually wore sweatshirts and socks, instead of sandals and t-shirts!
1. Stars and Flowers by Olivia Rainsford
This is actually a pattern package including three beautiful afghan patterns – the beauty pictured in the photograph above is the Stained Glass Afghan – also included in the pattern package are the Flowers Afghan and the Stars Afghan – and this month they are on sale – so if any of them intrigue you, you may want to take a look before the end of September to take advantage of the sale price! I can certainly see why this one is #1 in the Hot Right Now search on Ravelry, for blankets!
Here are the 3 pictured separately 🙂 I love them all but my favorite is the first one!

2. Owl Obsession, Marken of The Hat & I
I love owls…and this blanket – is lovely! I can picture it in a child’s room or even in a baby crib – it is just so bright and fun!

3. Vintage Crocheted Blanket, Churchmouse Yarns and Teas
This blanket is gorgeous – I love the elegant design.  The website offers suggestions for color choices for 2-color and 5-color variations. The design size is 26″x 30″ (notes on Ravelry indicate it can easily be made into an adult size version).

I hope you love these beautiful designs!
