I personally loved the Mini Skein I received. The color was so pretty and the yarn was so soft! It glided over my hook easily, it didn’t snag or split when I was working with it and when I frogged my project (three times) it didn’t fluff or pile.
After I played with it for a bit and tried some stitches and hooks, I decided I would make myself a new Cup Sleeve.
This quick project uses less than 1 mini skein (less than 60 yds) of Heavy Fingering Weight Yarn.

Supplies
- Yarn: Campfiber Yarns. Deluxe MCN. 0.70 oz (20 g) and 80 yds (73 m). 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon. Heavy Fingering [1].
- Colors: 1 skein One of a Kind
- Hook: 4 mm (G) Furls Streamline Swirl. I used this hook.
- Finished Project Yardage: Cup Sleeve: less than 60 yds
- Scissors, Yarn Needle, Stitch Marker

Approximately 3 rows per inch and 4 sts per inch
You can substitute any yarn and hook for this stitch pattern – just remember when you substitute if your gauge is different, the finished size, and amount of yarn used for your project will also be different.

Special Stitches
Bobble (abbreviated bo)
(Yarn over the hook, insert the hook into the specified stitch, yarn over and pull up 1 loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops) 5 times, yarn over and pull through all 6 loops on the hook.
TIP: The bobble is the same as a dc5tog but it is worked all in a single stitch.

Notes:
- Stitch multiple is 6 + 2
- The initial ch 2 does not count as a stitch and we do not work into it. You may want to mark the ch 2 to remind yourself.
- The first hdc is worked in the very first st of the row (the same one that already has that ch 2 in it that we are not counting).
- I work into the back bar (bump) of the chain stitches in the foundation row. The back bar (or third loop) is located immediately below the back loop of the stitch (on the back side of your work). You may work under the back loop if you prefer.
- The bobble stitches should naturally pop through to the RS of your work. If they do not do this, nudge them to the RS of the project before your work the next row of the pattern.
One of a Kind Coffee Cup Sleeve Pattern Instructions
To fit a 16-oz coffee take-out cup.
This cup sleeve is crocheted back and forth in rows before being seamed using a simple whipstitch along the side edges.
Using your 4 mm (G) hook (or size required for gauge:
R1: (RS) Ch 38, sk the first ch, 1 sc in each rem ch across, ch 2, turn. [37 sc]
R2: 1 hdc in each of the next 4 sts, 1 bo in the next st. *1 hdc in each of the next 5 sts, 1 bo in the next st**. Work from * to ** across to the last 2 sts. 1 hdc in each of the last 2 sts, ch 2, turn. [6 bo, 31 hdc]
R3: 1 hdc in each st across, ch 2, turn. [37 hdc]
R4: 1 hdc in the first st. *1 bo in the next st, 1 hdc in each of the next 5 sts**. Work from * to ** across, ch 2, turn. [6 bo, 31 hdc]
R5: 1 hdc in each st across, ch 2, turn. [37 hdc]
R6-R9: Rep R2-R5
R10-R11: Rep R2-R3
R12: 1 hdc in the first st. *1 bo in the next st, 1 hdc in each of the next 5 sts**. Work from * to ** across, ch 1, turn. [6 bo, 31 hdc]
R13: 1 sc in each st across. Finish off leaving a 6-inch tail of yarn for seaming.
Finishing Instructions:
With the RS of your project facing you, fold the project in half widthwise and line up the 2 side edges. Tip: The bobbles should be facing you. Thread the yarn end onto a yarn needle and whipstitch it through one loop from each edge. Continue whipstitching along the side edges in the same manner until you reach the opposite corner. Weave in your end.
Weave in any remaining ends.
