For this year’s Stitch & Hustle Blog Hop, WeCrochet is our Sponsor and generously provided Yarn Support for each of the Designer’s Projects.
We were given a list of yarns to choose from for our projects and I am so happy I chose this one! It is gorgeous – the colors – the softness – the stitch definition – I really can’t say enough about this yarn.
City Tweed is also available in DK Weight so I am thinking about ordering some up for a Spring Project…but I may just give in and order more of the Aran /HW to make a few more fall/winter projects…

Notes:
- Stitch multiple: 2 (Understanding Stitch Multiples)
- Crochet stitch pattern : Puff Stitch
- The initial ch-3 does not count as a stitch.
- The initial ch-2 does not count as a stitch.
- The initial ch-1 does not count as a stitch.
- The sl st does not count as a stitch.
- Make your sl st tightly.
- You may customize the hat height by working the repeat as many, or as few, times as you wish. Every 1 round you add with the stitch pattern, will add approximately 0.75 inch of height to the hat.
- If you would like to add a little bit more height to the hat, work an additional round (or two) of sc in the back loop only.
- I use an invisible join to finish off my final round of stitches, you may substitute a sl st to join if you prefer.

Hi Ivy, A CAL is a crochet along. It can be done in many different ways – some people do a large project over the course of a year, or release a pattern for people to make over the course of a few weeks to a few months. We do a scarf and hat pattern every month during the year so that by Wintertime if you participate you have some projects to give as gifts or donate to a local charity, or shelter in your area. Often in the winter here different churches collect donations for those in need and some of our schools collect and then donate as a group to a local charity or organization in the bigger cities. Hope this helps, Rhondda
Hi Im a little confused and do love all the patterns CAL stands for ??? I forgot and are their places to donate our crocheted items?? If so Id love to participate
