This month, instead of introducing you to a new charity that could use our help, our Guest Poster, Christine from Sweet Potato 3, would like to invite you to participate in a month-long crochet challenge. Christine is hosting a Crochet Cancer Challenge and YOU are invited to participate!
Instead of one free pattern being available for the featured charity, each day a new pattern will be released. So be sure to check her blog for all the information!
Many of these patterns are normally available for purchase only, but for this special cause and in return for your pledge that you will crochet and donate a hat from the pattern(s), you can receive the pattern for free, using a coupon code. Each coupon code is specific to a pattern for the challenge and is available for a limited time only. So pop by Christine’s blog to learn all the details and use your crochet hooks to support the crochet cancer challenge!

Crochet Cancer Challenge
Hi, my name is Christine and I am the designer from Sweet Potato 3.
Five years ago I lost an uncle to cancer. Unfortunately, cancer is a terrible diagnosis too many people get or have a close relative or friend receives.
So, I started a Crochet Cancer Challenge.
The Cancer Challenge runs the entire month of October and is a call out to all crocheters to make hats to donate to their LOCAL cancer centers.
To help encourage all you amazing crocheters I have a team of pattern designers who so graciously offer free patterns for you to use.
