Must Have Crochet Afghan Patterns

When I sat down to write this week’s Free Pattern Friday, I realized I hadn’t done an updated crochet afghan pattern post for quite some time. There are SO many new blanket patterns available (these are just the tip of the iceberg!) – ranging from easy to crochet, to more complex and difficult.

I’ve included the yarn weights and hook sizes you will need for these projects in the descriptions below. I have also provided the afghan sizes you can make with these patterns, or I’ve indicated if there are multiple sizes available.

Get ready to fall in love with these new Must Have Crochet Afghan Patterns.

This collection includes a circle blanket, a granny square blanket, a ripple blanket, a textured afghan, a granny square blanket (with a twist), a plaid blanket and even some very beginner friendly afghan patterns.

You will also find some beautiful crochet edgings and blanket borders you can save for later in this post!

Which of these must have crochet afghan patterns is your favorite? Did you add any of them to your 2021 Crochet To Do List?
