I was recently contacted by a fellow crocheter and asked if I had a beginner friendly v-stitch scarf pattern using the (dc, ch 1, dc) V-Stitch. I wrote up this pattern for her to use to make donation scarves this year. I hope it is useful for others who are donating scarves to those in need too! This pattern requires 1 ball of medium weight [4] yarn and a 5.5 mm (I) hook. You can make these scarves in a couple hours and they are simple and relaxing to crochet. If you would prefer the other V-Stitch variation please see my Very Easy V-Stitch Scarf pattern.
