 Loom Knit Stitch Dictionary

Book Review

Ever since I had the chance to review the Ultimate Oval Loom Knitting Set I have been super intrigued by what else I can do with a knitting loom. When the Loom Knit Stitch Dictionary became available I jumped at the opportunity to review it!

Check out the new Loom Knit Stitch Dictionary! Click to Tweet

The step-by-step written instructions for the 60-stitches included in the Loom Knit Stitch Dictionary are easy to follow. Each stitch is illustrated with a clear color image to show you what you are creating. Stitch counts and repeats have been provided to allow you to make projects of any size and shape. If separate instructions are needed for working flat and working on a circular loom it is clearly indicated. I’ve attempted a few of them on my Knit Quick Mini Loom and with each one I try, the process becomes easier to understand and replicate.

Here’s a picture of the most recent one I was working on – I think i will turn it into a headband for Darla to wear – or another little scarf for her baby doll. Darla is super interested in learning how to use the loom herself now too – so it is on our ‘to-do’ list for our next rainy weekend.

This example shows the Twisted Stockinette Stitch:

I’ve never bought a loom and I had no idea it could be used for knitting. And so many different stitches, unbelievable. Thanks for bringing this to light for me with your review.
