This week on Link and Share Wednesday, we feature 3 great crochet projects submitted by Underground Crafter, Kiku Corner and LiliaCraftParty!
Underground Crafter has submitted a pretty floral 6-inch afghan square named the Mayapple Flower Square. Crocheted in a single color you can really admire the detail of the stitches used to make the textures and flower design. The flower the Mayapple has 6-petals and is what Marie used for her design inspiration. This is a delicate and lacy square which will make a lovely day blanket or throw.
Kiku Corner (whom currently reside in my corner of the world – Ontario, Canada) tried the Crochet Buttons and Lace Hat designed by Sharon Zientara. The finished hat is lovely and the construction technique is unique; beginning with band of the hat (which is the entire lace section of the hat height) and then continuing to the crown. The pretty stitches can really be admired with the yarn Meinhilde chose to make her hat with.
Lilia Craft Party has shared her Majesty Blanket design this week. I think you will love this design too! Crocheted with medium weight yarn and a 3.5 mm (E) crochet hook this finished blanket is 50 inches by 50 inches square; but it can be easily made to other sizes too. The blanket is created by assembling pretty flower afghan squares and includes a simple tasteful edging.
