Tie a ribbon, or piece of thread to the center stitch inside the reindeer (the one you created when you worked through the first and fifth stitch in R10). Then loop it through the front and back of the reindeer so the holder will balance when you hang it from the tree.

  1. Hi Wanda, I’ve always gotten mine from Walmart. I usually get them in October/beginning of November because they sell out pretty quick here in Canada.

  2. Hi Anna, Try chaining 2 and then working the 10 sc into the second chain from the hook. I would recommend leaving a fairly long tail of yarn initially so you can weave it in securely when you are done. If you want to try the double magic ring (which I find is a little bit easier to manage than the regular magic ring) here is the video tutorial link: https://oombawkadesigncrochet.com/secure-double-magic-ring-tutorial/ All the best, Rhondda

  3. I’m so happy you enjoyed the pattern and they loved their gifts 🙂 Thank you for letting me know 🙂 Have a lovely 2018! Rhondda

  4. These were a hit for Christmas. I made a ton and all the recipients LOVED it. Thanks!

  5. I’m pretty sure they were at Walmart – all our candy canes seem to come individually wrapped here actually come to think of it…I’ve never seen them not individually wrapped? I’m in Ontario, Canada…
