Here’s how it works.
This lacy summer scarf is simple to crochet and a great way to add a fun pop of color to your outfits. This project uses only simple stitches, double crochet (dc) and chain stitches (ch) so it is suitable for beginners. You can easily make your lacy summer scarf larger too! I have included the stitch multiple in the instructions. Find the full written pattern, which is available for free, in my post below.
Disclaimer: The yarn used for this project was given to me by King Cole.
King Cole yarn is available from your local yarn shop, or online at the links in my post below.

The Yarn I used for this project:
For my Lacy Summer Scarf I used 1.5 oz (43 g) / 212 yds (194 m) of King Cole, Summer 4Ply, Super Fine Weight Yarn [1].
This exquisite yarn is a blend of bamboo (55%), cotton (37%) and a small amount (8%) of PBT (elastic). Each ball includes 100 g (3.5 oz) and 492 yds (450 m).
There is a little bit of springiness in the yarn strand and it has a lovely self-striping effect when crocheted. Summer 4ply creates soft, breathable fabrics.
I love to wear bamboo fabrics in the summertime for their moisture wicking and anti-bacterial properties. I think Summer 4ply was an excellent choice for this lacy summer scarf.
I loved working with this yarn and the spiral ply added some texture to my simple crochet stitches.
I think this yarn would be suitable for many lightweight wearables and many crocheters have used Summer 4ply to make soft socks!
Summer 4ply is machine washable (40C) and it is available in 9 different shades. To see the shades available in Summer 4Ply, visit this link.
