Supplies

• Aunt Lydia’s Classic 10 Crochet Thread (shown in White)
• 2.25 mm (B) Crochet Hook
• 7 pretty beads with a little bit of weight to them

Notes

• If you are using beads with a small opening (hole) you will need to thread them onto your Crochet Thread before you begin to crochet your cover. The beads I used have metal wrap around covers and fit easily over the top of my 2.25 mm crochet hook so I was able to add them as I crochet the cover. The beads I used were purchased at Michaels.
• You may wish to use a stitch marker to mark your place. Do not sl st to join unless indicated. You will be working in continuous rounds.
• At the beginning of R2-R7 the (1 sc, ch 2) counts as 1 dc

R1: *see note above regarding beads* Ch 3, slide on bead you are using for the ‘handle’, ch 3. Sl st to join to the initial ch 1. This is the handle.
R2: Ch 2, work 10 hdc into the 2nd ch (10)
R3: (1 sc, ch 2, 1 dc) in the first st. *2 dc in the next st**. Rep from * to ** 9 times. (20)
R4:  1 sc in the top of the ch 2, ch 2. 2 dc in the next st. *1 dc in the next st, 2 dc in the next st**. Rep from * to ** 9 times (30)
R5: 1 sc in the top of the ch 2, ch 2. 1 dc in the next st. 2 dc in the next st. *1 dc in each of the next 2 sts, 2 dc in the next st**. Rep from * to ** 9 times (40)
R6: 1 sc in the top of the ch 2, ch 2. 1 dc in each of the next 2 sts. 2 dc in the next st. *1 dc in each of the next 3 sts, 2 dc in the next st**. Rep from * to ** 9 times (50)
