I hope everyone is enjoying August’s Crochet Along Project! I have all my supplies ready and I am going to be starting next week when I am on vacation with my family! We have some driving to do so I think this will make a great road trip project 🙂 If you are interested in our August CAL you can learn more about it right here: The August CALOFTHEMONTH2017

We are crocheting the beautiful Beach Day Sunhat by Jennifer Pionk! You can see it here: Beach Day Sunhat

I fell behind on my CAL projects this summer – summer vacation with 2 little children is a bit hectic! We seem to be always on the go which has not left me with quite as much crochet time as I envisioned! I did finish my Cocoon Cardigan project and it was quickly claimed by my sister – who granted me 2 images before whisking it away! She loves it and I am hoping to make myself one sometime later this year but in a rectangular shape.  I need more coverage around my body and towards the front and not so much extra height – by continuing the square, it gives me extra width and height – so I think a rectangle is the solution 🙂 we shall see if I can make this work!

For our July Crochet Along we chose to make a crocheted Cocoon Cardigan and this was the project:
