The Yarn
For our Make Along with King Cole we were asked to use Finesse Cotton Silk DK Yarn. I was happy with this choice because I’ve used it before for a few other projects and I really love how the yarn works up and how the finished fabric feels. You can see my other patterns using Finesse Cotton Silk DK yarn here.
This exquisite natural fibre yarn is a blend of cotton (77%) and silk (23%). Each ball includes 50 g (1.76 oz) and 131 yds (120 m).
I love working with Finesse Cotton Silk DK yarn. Even simple crochet stitches look fancy with this blended yarn. The finished fabric is incredibly soft and has beautiful drape. This yarn will make beautiful garments, including warm weather wearables and baby clothing. You can even make a beautiful lightweight blanket!
Finess Cotton Silk is hand washable (30C) and it is available in 23 different shades. To see the shades available in Finesse Cotton Silk, visit this link.

Notes:
- Stitch multiple of 2
- The initial ch 4 counts as 1 tr.
- The initial ch 2 counts as a 1 hdc.
- The initial ch 1 does not count as a st.
- The pattern is written with a DMR (double magic ring) to start. You may substitute a different type of magic ring to begin. Please see this post for other options.
