Sometimes all we need is to see that something can be done successfully in order for us to give it a try ourselves. I love the wide variety of techniques demonstrated in this book and the idea that by using them I can create something new that I can use from something someone else has tossed aside.

I was especially interested in the steek and hem knitwear instructions and how to successfully work into denim fabrics. I love the Summer Breeze Wrap and the Magic Granny Slippers. I hope to put to use some of the skills I’ve picked up by reviewing this book to repurpose some old fabrics we have about our own house!
