Abbreviations

US Terminology used

beg – beginning
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
R – row/round
RS – right side (aka as the ‘pretty side’ of your work)
rem – remaining
rep – repeat
sc – single crochet
sk – skip
st/sts – stitch/stitches
* – Repeat the instructions between the asterisks the number of times indicated. This repeat will contain of multiple instructions.
() – Repeat the instructions between the parentheses the number of times indicated.
[] – at the end of the row – the total number of stitches

Pattern Instructions

R1: Using Cream: ch 23, beg 2nd ch from hook; 1 sc in each across [22]

R2: ch 1, sk first st, 2 sc in next st, *sk next st, 2 sc in next st**, rep from * to ** across [22]

R3: rep R2, finish off, weave in ends.

Whipstitch two ends together to form a tube. Or if you prefer you can add a small button or circle of velcro to make it easier to put it on the napkins.
