Notes:

  • I use a DMR (double magic ring) to begin my projects that are worked in the round. You may substitute a magic ring (magic circle), or a chain 3 and slip stitch to form a ring, if you prefer.
  • The initial ch-3 counts as 1 dc.
  • The slip stitch (sl st) to join does not count as a stitch and we do not work into it.
  • Make the slip stitch join in the first dc (skipping over the initial ch-3) unless otherwise specified.
  • Make your joining slip stitches (sl st) tightly.
  • Each round begins in the first ch1sp. We slip stitch over to it at the end of the preceding round. Those slip stitches do not count as stitches and those dc stitches will be skipped at the end of every round.
