Gingham Teddy Bear Afghan Pattern Review & Giveaway

This blanket is a beginner friendly project that is crocheted in single crochet (sc) and double crochet (dc) stitches.
The entire pattern uses single crochet stitches (sc) worked in the back loop of a stitch, double crochet stitches (dc) worked in a remaining front loop of a stitch from 2 rows before.
Two versions of the pattern are included, one to make it in a 3 colors and a second to make it in multiple colors.
The pattern is worked on the RS (right side) only, and you will finish-off the strand of yarn you are working with at the end of every row. The project has been designed with a pocket envelope border which encloses all the yarn ends you may have inside so you have very few ends to sew in when you are finished the blanket.
By watching Carol’s helpful step-by-step video tutorial you will be able to master the dropped double crochet technique easily.

- Finished Size: 32.75 inches X 34.25 inches including the border
- Yarns: Baby Weight Yarn [3]
- Crochet Hook: 3.50 mm (E)
- Gauge: 5 sc and 5 sc rows = 1 inches
- Yardage: 12 oz Main Color, 2 oz Color 2 and 2 oz white.
- Easy Pattern includes written instructions (pages 4-7) and a Graph (pages 6-7)
- Intermediate Pattern includes additional written instructions and graphs (pages 8-9)
CHILD SIZE AFGHAN
- Finished Size: 41 inches X 42.75 inches
- Yarns: Worsted Weight Yarn [4]
- Crochet Hook: 4 mm (G)
- Gauge: 4 sc and 4 sc rows = 1 inch
- Yardage: 34 oz Main Color, 2 oz Color 2 and 3 oz white.
