Here’s how it works.
This month for our Crochet Along, I am sharing my Full of Woe Slouch Hat Pattern. This very easy crochet hat is worked in one-piece and uses only single crochet (sc) and double crochet (dc) stitches.
The Full of Woe Slouch Hat is a great quick project that is suitable for everyone. I have included sizes Baby to Adult in the instructions below.
To make my Full of Woe Slouch Hat you will need Medium Weight Yarn [4] and both a 4 mm (G) crochet hook (for the hat band/brim) and a 5.5 mm (I) crochet hook for the hat pattern.

Helpful Tutorials
Notes:
- Leave a long yarn tail at the beginning of your project to allow you to whipstitch the edges of the hat band together when you are finished.
- This slouch hat pattern is crocheted in continuous rounds. You do not slip stitch to join or chain additional stitches at the beginning of each round. You may want to use a stitch marker to mark your place. I place the stitch marker in the very first stitch of each round beginning in Rnd 2 and move it up each round until the hat is complete.
- If you’d like a longer slouch, repeat the ‘repeat rounds’ additional times. Every 2 rounds adds approximately 1 inch in finished hat height.
