I was recently contacted by a representative at DesignEvo to ask if I’d like to test-drive their online logo making tool. I love trying new design tools and I thought you might enjoy learning about this one too.
DesignEvo has an impressive database of more than 4000 different professional grade logo designs. Each of these designs is available as a fully editable template, which you can modify to your own preferences.
You can search through the full collection, check out the current favorites or you can narrow your search down by typing in a keyword. They also have a helpful category index. Just choose the category you want and then browse through all the logo designs available in that specific category.
They have a lot of different categories to choose from including:
- Abstract,
- Animal & Pet,
- Art & Entertainment,
- Automotive & Logistics,
- Business & Finance,
- Childhood & Education,
- Fashion & Beauty,
- Food & Drink,
- Industrial & Construction,
- Legal & Politics,
- Letter,
- Lifestyle,
- Medical & Pharmaceutical,
- Nature & Environment,
- Non-Profit,
- Sports & Fitness,
- Technology & Communication,
- and Travel & Hotel.
Here are a couple examples from the Food & Drink Category:
Each element of the logo template can be customized. You can move everything around, resize it, change the fonts and the colors. You can easily select the entire group and then use their helpful alignment buttons to make them centered, or left or right justified. You can also stack elements on top of one another.
Fonts
There are a large number of fonts included. You can select from Bold fonts, Modern (Sans), Traditional (Serif), Handwriting and Funny. You can easily switch from uppercase to lowercase with a click of the mouse and even add different special effects to your fonts, including opacity, shadow/glow and outline.
If you want something even more unique, click the Art tab:
The font you select can be curved and you can change the curve with a slider option.
Background Options
You can choose a transparent background color or make the background a solid color.
The Layout Button at the top of the screen is a great asset as well. It allows you to choose how to display your icon and text and with a click of the mouse you can rearrange the arrangement from icon above text, icon to the left of the text, icon beneath the text and icon to the right of the text.
This entire process is very quick and painless.
If you prefer you can even use their platform to create your own logo from scratch.

Here’s one of the designs I created. This one is just something simple for the recipe site I am working on in memory of my Nana. I wanted a watermark for my images and I think this might work perfectly:
I tried it out for 2 of my other sites too. Here are the 2 other ones I came up with:
I really had fun playing on DesignEvo. I love how easy it is to create a unique logo. The 500 x 500 size is perfect for so many purposes!
If you are interested in a logo for your blog, a new social media button or a watermark for your images, I recommend you give DesignEvo a try. It is available on Mobile too!
The Free Package is a great place to start and it gives you a chance to try out the different templates and layouts. I love your baking logo. I’ll give this a try when I get some spare time. I’m not great on computers but maybe this will be simple enough to give it a try.
Thanks so much for this review. As a wannabe new blogger, figuring out how to come up with a useable logo without spending ages has been so tough! I’ll definitely check this site out!
