Happy crocheting!

Some people really love Llamas – but my favorite trendy animal has to be the sloth. I’m not sure why they are trendy? Does anyone know why all of a sudden we have sloth decor available everywhere? Anyway, I have a thing for sloths and my kids know it too – they recently used sticky tack to stick a little sloth cut-out from a magazine on the wall beside my desk…and they have been making hand-molded clay sloths for me.

I purchased myself a Beanie Boo too – I just couldn’t resist the little guy! I have a sloth hanging on my purse and even a sloth handle on my crochet hook (a custom design from Pedro’s Plaques). You can see it here.
I find it a bit odd that I have developed this attachment to an animal I haven’t actually seen in real life. Maybe one day I will be able to see one up close and in person – but until that day – I will just keep on collecting these odds and ends that make me smile. I hope these adorable crocheted sloths make you smile today too!
