Easy stitches, soft yarn, and beautiful texture make these scarf patterns perfect for thoughtful, cozy gifts.

Evergreen Mist Scarf

Designed by Rhondda Mol of Oombawka Design Crochet

The Evergreen Mist Scarf features puff, double, and treble crochet stitches worked in a simple two-row repeat. The tonal color shifts from light silvery green to deep grey-black using Mary Maxim Tonal Hues yarn (Liquid Mercury) and a 5 mm (H) crochet hook.

You can easily adjust the size by continuing the repeat to make your scarf as large as you like. The texture and tonal shading make this piece stand out beautifully as a handmade winter accessory.

Mardava Shell Stitch Crochet Cowl

Designed by Pia Thadani of Stitches n Scraps

The Mardava Shell Stitch Crochet Cowl is rich in texture and warmth. Worked in Paintbox Simply Aran yarn in Rich Teal (#64) and Vanilla Cream (#207), this design features soft shell stitches that create a cozy, structured fabric. Pia used a 5.5 mm (I) crochet hook to achieve the perfect balance of drape and stitch definition.

Finished Size: Height: 6.5″ (16.5 cm); Circumference: 28.75″ (72 cm)

This cowl is a quick, satisfying project and a wonderful way to highlight two coordinating shades of aran weight yarn.

Autumn Leaves Chunky Scarf

Designed by Amy Ramnarine of The Stitchin’ Mommy

Amy’s Autumn Leaves Chunky Scarf is warm, soft, and quick to make. It’s crocheted with an 8 mm (M) crochet hook and Tea Cakes yarn in the Smoked Fruit colorway, a rich blend of purples, golds, and greys that adds depth and warmth to every stitch. The bulky yarn and easy stitch pattern make this a fast, cozy project you’ll want to wear again and again.
