Happy #grannysquareday2019 Crocheters! Today I am releasing a brand-new pattern for my Five Petal Flower Afghan Square. This lovely square is crocheted in Scheepjes Stone Washed Yarn, with a 4 mm (G) hook. This is a free crochet pattern; it has been tech edited and it includes a stitch diagram.

Scroll to the very end of the post for the photo tutorial and the stitch diagram for this square.

I am using up my Scheepjes Stone Washed and River Washed Yarn 10 g balls to design some little afghan square projects for you. This is just one of the ones I will be releasing over the next few months. So if you have one of the Colour Kits too, pop back in a week or two to get the next free pattern!

Notes

Pattern is written with a sl st join at the end of most rounds, join only when instructed.

For the rounds where we finish off, I prefer to use an invisible join instead of a sl st because it is tidier. Either is acceptable for this pattern up to the last round.

Pattern does not have a turning chain for the rounds where we join with a new color because I usually start each new round with a standing st. If you prefer a sl st join and a turning chain, feel free to substitute.

Color A: Peridot (827) , Color B: Red Jasper (807), Color C: Turquoise (824)
