Darn Good Yarn of the Month Box – Review

Who loves opening up a box to find a free pattern, scrumptious premium yarn and a surprise gift inside? Well I certainly do!

A few weeks ago I received the first Darn Good Yarn of the Month Box at my door and this is what I found inside:

Prefer viewing your Videos on YouTube? Click HERE for the HD version.

I didn’t show you the surprise gift which was included because I feel that would take some of the fun out of it!

This monthly subscription box, also known as, the $10 Yarn Club, is delivered right to your door every month!  Inside the Darn Good Yarn of the Month Box you will find:

  • Skein of Premium Yarn (skein of Darn Good Yarn or another brand of artisan quality yarn)
  • Pattern (Knit and Crochet Versions)
  • Mystery Gift

Each month, after Month 1 is a surprise! For the first monthly box you will receive the same pattern and type of yarn as I received in my First Box (plus the mystery gift)!

Month 1 includes the gorgeous yarn pictured below and the written instructions to make this fun project:

DARN GOOD YARN OF THE MONTH Club review

Love it? I do too! and there is enough yarn left over to make a few extra sets of this project to share with your friends!

The instructions included from Designer Erin Burke, produced this lovely Tiered Air Plant Hanger, large enough to fit a couple air plants in each spot together! I love how I can also use it to display my small succulent pots and they hang easily from my shower curtain rod in the bath!

I would love to have the courage to join ‘box of the months’ but I’m so particular…lol. I don’t have any premium yarn and maybe that’s why. (?) I have never touched silk yarn and I honestly I would have to find a different pattern to make use of the yarn. The yarn is beautiful.
