Cuddle and Play Elephant Blanket ePattern Review
I have been a big fan of the Cuddle and Play Blanket series since the first design was released by Crochet Arcade. They are absolutely precious!
This unique idea developed by Crochet Arcade combines a huggable toy, with a baby blanket.

The Cuddle and Play Elephant Blanket pattern is written in U.S. Crochet terms and is available as a downloadable PDF. It is 15-pages in length and includes fantastic photo tutorials to teach your how make each part of the project.
The pattern includes full color images with helpful directional arrows and highlighting to specify the exact placement of stitches. Links to video tutorials are also provided for specific parts of the pattern (like sewing on the toe nails and sewing wrinkles/creases on the trunk) and you will receive a password to access these videos within the pattern itself.
The finished Cuddle and Play Elephant Blanket measures 30 inches wide by 38 inches long. You will need a 6.50 mm (K) crochet hook and Bulky Weight Yarn [5] in 3 colors. The exact yardages have been provided in the pattern, as well as, the number of skeins you need if you are using the same yarn as was used in the original pattern design (King Cole Comfort Chunky).
These 2-in-1 blankets will make great gifts for babies, toddlers and small children. The Cuddle and Play Animals can be gifted to boys and girls. Making it a fantastic pattern to have on-hand as it is so versatile. I think I might even enjoy one as a lap blanket! They are just that adorable!
