Cuddle Buddies
These adorable Cuddle Buddies are crocheted with Medium Weight Yarn [4] and a 5 mm (H) hook.
The patterns were designed by Sharon Compton and include 8 different animal friends. All patterns included are rated at an EASY skill level.
Each of the animals is crocheted in parts and then assembled using simple stitches.
You can choose to stuff these Cuddle Buddies lightly to create stuffed toys or, you can leave them unstuffed and the head pocket open to hide jammies, blankies, or small treasures inside.
Some of the stitches you can expect to see in these patterns include:
- Chain Stitches (ch)
- Single Crochet Stitches (sc)
- Slip Stitches
- Single Crochet 2 Together (sc2tog)
Most parts of these projects are worked in rounds, or in rows. Some of the animals have parts crocheted around foundation rows (like the body of the Dachshund).
The instructions are written in US Crochet Terms. Stitch counts are included at the end of the rows following a : symbol.
For example:
Row 2 (RS): Ch 1, turn; sc in first 2 sc, 2 sc in last sc: 4 sc
Other supplies you will need include eye lashes, safety noses, 12″ pipe cleaners (for the ears) and polyester stuffing.

Love to see Granny in Blooms reviewed. Thank you for the give away. Good Luck Everyone !
Hi! And thanks for the giveaway! I think the CarSeat Cuties could be a useful pattern book! I also saw one in the bestsellers section on the same page called Woodland Wildlife in Filet Crochet which I thought could be pretty awesome as well. Happy February!
I would love for you to make a review on this eBook:
The wraps are quite beautiful. And this review, oh my! Yes, the Koala and the kangaroo because of the babies, but they are all super adoable and a little one would love to hug up on a Cuddle Buddies, maybe an adult too!
I really like the car seat cuties. That would go so well with this last book that you reviewed.
