Crochet patterns for beautiful, unique and diverse dolls.

Crochet You!

Crochet You! includes crochet patterns for beautiful, unique and diverse dolls. This book gives you the instructions you need to create dolls that are as unique as our children.

This book includes 128-pages of written instructions and step-by-step photos.

I love that the Designer has included patterns for a range of Essential Aids and accessories that might be needed to create our unique dolls.

The patterns are available for a basic doll, as well as, variations for body types and hair styles.

Be sure to read the Introduction on page 6 (it has a super sweet story included) and the useful tips on page 9. The Abbreviations section is also available on page and the crochet patterns are written in US crochet terminology.

The yarns used for these projects were Scheepjes Catona (for the dolls’ bodies and clothes), Scheepjes Twinkle (for metal parts of the wheelchair, crutches and prothesis) and Scheepjes Softie (for clothes and the assistance dog).

The projects were crocheted with 3 different sizes of crochet hooks, 2 mm (B), 2.25 mm and 2.5 mm (C).

The dolls have a wire body frame for their torso and legs (templates are included on page 122-123).

Some of the accessories and prostheses require magnets to be sewn into the doll so be sure to check this before you begin. You will need to put them in place in the torso before you complete the doll pattern itself in order for the accessory / prosthesis to properly attach.
