Continue to Part 2 (Post Date August 5).

REPEAT of Part 1:

After Part 8 you will need to begin again at Part 1 and continue through the Parts until you reach the length of your rectangle indicated in the chart(s) below. When you begin Part 1 again please follow these steps:

Starting over with Part 1 (for the repeat sequence) using the Granule Stitch:

R42: sc2tog;  work 1 sc in each rem st across, ch 1, turn (33) (43)
R43: *1 sc in the next st, 1 sc picot st in the next st**. Repeat from * to ** across to the last st. (NOTE: be sure to push the picot stitches through to the RS of your work) 1 sc in the last st, ch 1, turn (33) (43)
R44: 2 sc in the first st, 1 sc in each remaining st across, ch 1, turn (34) (44)
R45: 1 sc in each st across, changing colour on the last yarn over of the last st, ch 3, turn (34) (44)
then proceed to Part 2.

Repeat Parts 2-8 until you have reached 1″ before your desired length (the chart is shown on the intro post).

It is possible to reach the length before you repeat all of the parts and this is ok. You may even end in the middle of a part. Once you reach the length minus one inch, proceed to Part 9.

Happy crocheting!

  1. I love the looks of this Poncho and really want to make one.
I thought there would be a “Print Friendly” button at the bottom of each section. While the odd number sections do have the button with your part, the even number pages don’t have this option. I really would like to “Print” each but can’t follow if I have to look at half of the pattern online only.
