This month, Carol Hegar from Shady Lane Original Crochet Designs has given us a copy of her Stylish Fashions for 18 inch Dolls ePattern to review and a second copy to giveaway to one of my lucky readers!
This 14-page ePattern includes instructions for two awesome crocheted outfits that are perfect for 18-inch dolls. The patterns are provided in U.S. Crochet Terms. Assembly diagrams are included for the garments and you will also find a graph for the Greek Key element used at the bottom of the skirt (Infinity Wrap Outfit).
You will find the full abbreviations list, instructions for sizing adjustments and directions for working dc stitches in a stitch 2 rounds (rows) below on page 3.
The dropped double crochet technique is super easy-to-do and used for the Greek Key element section of the skirt from the Infinity Wrap Outfit and the designs on the poncho and hat from the Poncho Outfit. - 3.75 mm (F) hook (or size needed for gauge; gauge: 5 sc and 5 rows = 1″)
- DK/Sport/Baby Weight Yarn
Create these chic outfits for your American Girl or similarly sized 18″ dolls. Outfit your dolls in trendy crocheted outfits made from DK, sport or baby yarn.
The Grecian key ensemble includes instructions to make dress with interesting hem detail, an infinity wrap, shoes and hat.

I like the Granada afghan, as well as this pattern.
I love all of Shady Lane’s patterns and it’s difficult to choose, but I’ve always had a soft spot for the Nite Nite Teddy Bear Afghan pattern. It just draws me in every time I see it.
