3 Purrfect Kitty Couches
This month we had one extra Saturday available for a post and when I reached out to Annie’s Craft Store, they kindly sent me an extra eBook to review. That means YOU get an extra Giveaway too!
I have received quite a few requests this past month for this 3-pattern eBook to be reviewed so it was my obvious pick for today’s post!
All 3 of these cat couches are crocheted using Medium Weight Yarn [4]. The written instructions are presented in an easy-to-follow manner, with full details written out (for example it doesn’t say “increase” it is actually written out to work 2 dc in a stitch) and standard crochet terms used.
3 Patterns for Crochet Cat Couches
- Pink Bed| INTERMEDIATE | 16 inches across X 10 inches tall | Medium Worsted Weight Yarn [4] |4 mm (G) hook |
- Blue Couch | INTERMEDIATE | 21 inches wide X 14 inches deep X 11 inches tall | Medium Worsted Weight Yarn [4] |4 mm (G) hook and 5 mm (H) hook |
- Green Sofa | INTERMEDIATE | 18.5 inches across X 12 inches deep X 12 inches tall | Medium Worsted Weight Yarn [4] |4 mm (G) hook and 5.5 mm (I) |

The patterns are written in US crochet terms. The stitch counts are included at the end of the pattern rows in parenthesis.
The Blue Couch and Green Sofa patterns include a NOTE section in the Special Notes section that specifies when to use the 5.5 mm (I) and 4 mm (G) hooks.
The patterns use simple stitches and simple shapes to create the fabric for the couches. These crocheted shapes are then assembled to form the couches. You will be using additional supplies like fiberfill and 1″ foam to stuff your couches.
The patterns for the Granny Square Afghan and Pillows are also included!
Diagrams are provided for each of the designs to show you how the couches and accessories are assembled.
The eBook includes 8-pages. Bold type is used throughout to emphasize important headings and notes.
These adorable couches are perfectly sized for cats! I know my kitties would have loved them ♥

I love your review on these cat beds. However, they can be beds for small dogs too, right? LOL
These kitty couches are adorable! I actually made the round one. My kitty loves it. It is his favorite place to veg out. I can’t wait to make the other ones for his kitty friends. Highly recommend.
I missed out on the giveaway, but would love to make one of the kitty couches in this booklet, if not all of them. They all look so cute and would work up quickly! I think they would make great gifts for some of my family and friends!
This is my favorite review….I ended up with a copy of the Kitty Couches….Awesome!
I’d like the Learn to Crochet the Cathedral Rose Window Afghan
Crochet ER would be my class. Thank you for the giveaway.
I would enjoy watching the “Fixing Damage and Mistakes” class at Annies.
I love these kitty cushions and they are larger than when I first looked at them a few months ago. Perhaps I didn’t see the information correctly. Thank you for your helpful review on them.
As far as the Annie’s courses, I would have chosen the Filet class, but I am actually working on my first filet project now with yarn, but thread would be interesting too. So I guess I’ve learned that…lol The Embossed Crochet is intriguing so that would be my choice.
