Also included are sections about types of stuffing, noisemakers, felt and thread, safety eyes, needles, hooks, stitch markers, handy tools and slicker brushes.
The stitches you will need to use to crochet your Zoo Animal are demonstrated in a Crochet Stitch overview section with handy diagrams and written instructions. There is also a section to explain the embroidery stitches used to embellish your projects.
I found some excellent tips included in the Finishing Instructions – like how to close holes in your projects, how to hide yarn ends, how to cut out your felt pieces, how to line up facial features and how to attach body parts.
The written instructions in this book are fantastic and include stitch counts at the end of each row.
I plan to make many of these little animals for my children.
Darla loves the Primates and Drew loves the Elephants 😉
I love the Penguins!!
Here’s a peek at a few of the other cuties in the book!
