I recently discovered CoSchedule and it is a blogger’s dream come true!
At least, it is this blogger’s dream come true!
CoSchedule is a very user-friendly, Social Media Plugin for WordPress.
With CoSchedule you can add multiple social media accounts (i.e. you are not limited to either a one-page or one-group on Facebook – you can link up all your pages and groups!) and schedule your social media shares at the same time as you write your blog post!
Some of the key features of CoSchedule are:
- Drag-and-Drop Content Marketing / Editorial Calendar
- Schedule Social Media while you Blog
- Save Time, Grow Traffic
- All-in-one Publishing Solution
- Light-weight WordPress Plugin
CoSchedule allows you to organize you blog posts in a monthly calendar and to pick and choose which social media networks you would like to share your posts to – all in one place.
You no longer need to flip in and out of each of your accounts to share your post(s) to different social media networks.
You can access CoSchedule right in your blog post!
CoSchedule currently supports sharing to the following social media networks:
- Google+
- Facebook (Pages and Groups)
- Pinterest Boards (Yes!! You can schedule your PINS here too!)
- Tumblr
You can also link CoSchedule to Google Analytics, Google Calendar, Bit.ly and Buffer.
CoSchedule gives you the option to share your content in a variety of ways:
- the same date and time as your post
- 1 hour after your post goes lives
- 3 hours after your post goes live
- 5 hours after your post goes live
- custom number of hours after your post goes live
You can also schedule future dates and times:
- day after your post goes live
- week after your post goes live
- month after your post goes live
- custom number of days after your post goes live
You can schedule shares to one social media network at a time, or to multiple networks all using the same message.
CoSchedule lets you schedule text posts, image posts and link posts to share with your social media networks. This makes it very easy to share your images in your tweets!
You can also schedule multiple shares for the same social media network.
For example you can schedule a tweet to go live at the same time as your post is published and you can also schedule future dates and times for it to be tweeted.
You can set this up all at the same time as your original post!
You can schedule months in advance if you choose to do so!
When you schedule your social media shares you can choose to create separate messages for each share – or you can share the same message across multiple platforms. The messages are totally customizable, right up to the hashtags and social mentions you want to include!
I love this plugin for the time it has saved me!
CoSchedule is so easy to use –
CoSchedule has provided a very user-friendly video for you to watch:
One feature I really love – I can go back to my old blog posts and schedule future shares for the posts! Yes – you read that correctly 🙂
When you are searching for content to share – you can actually reshare your post across the social media networks of your choice.
You can try CoSchedule for free for 7-days (no credit card necessary!).
At the low cost of $10.00 per month, I believe CoSchedule is totally worth it!
I save hours a week in valuable time – using this plugin to schedule my blog posts and social media shares.
I invite you to give it a try too!
Thank you Garrett,
It really does everything I need it to do 🙂 A perfect match for my blog!
All the best,
Rhondda
This is such a great review Rhondda! I really appreciate the graphics that you made, and how they outline your process. It sounds like you are doing it right! I am also really glad to hear that CoSchedule is able to save you time while blogging. That is exactly what we hoped that it would do. Thank you for sharing us with your audience 🙂
