Notes:
- Multiple of 2
- Skipped 2 chains do not count as a stitch and we do not work into them.
- Turning chains (ch 1 and ch 2) do NOT count as stitches and we do not work into them.
- When I work into the foundation chain, I prefer working into the back bar (back bump) of the chain. You can work under the back loop only if you prefer.
- If you’d like to increase the scarf length, work more repeat rows.

FAQ
The Coral Wander Scarf is beginner-friendly. It uses a simple 2-row repeat with half double crochet and single crochet stitches, which are easy to learn and work up quickly.
Yes. Since the scarf is crocheted lengthwise, you can easily adjust the starting chain to make it longer or shorter. You can also add or remove rows to change the width.
Worsted weight [4] yarn works best. Solid colors, like coral, show off the texture beautifully, but variegated or self-striping yarns also look great.
The amount of yarn depends on the length and width you choose. A standard adult scarf typically uses around one to two skeins of worsted weight yarn (check your skein yardage for accuracy). For this specific project you will need 2 skeins (254 yards).
Yes. This pattern is ideal for beginners because it uses basic stitches and a repeat that’s easy to follow and remember.
