Joanita Theron from Creative Crochet Workshop
I love to crochet! To design and make patterns for both young and old is an absolute life’s passion. My daughter is my greatest inspiration! I love to try and learn new techniques, and although patience is not my strongest virtue, I have found that committing to a project and having the pleasure of a finished item, is one of life’s greatest and most satisfying pleasures. I believe that anyone can learn a new craft. I try to design and make my projects so that even a novice can do them.

Carolyn Christmas from Pink Mambo and Gourmet Crochet
Hi, I’m Carolyn! I’ve basically lived and breathed crochet most of my life. I’ve been a crochet designer, writer, marketer, magazine and book editor, tech editor, teacher, author and publisher. I left the corporate life behind a decade ago and I’m happily crocheting as an indie designer and blogger. I’m thrilled to be presenting my new work on pinkmambo.com.
My husband and I are empty nesters, living and working in our small home under the big sky of the Texas Hill Country. As much as I love small-town life, frequent visits to my city-dwelling daughters keep me inspired with the energy of art, food, shopping and most of all, people.

Anastasiya Matyakh from Born to Crochet, Forced to Work
Hello, my name is Anastasiya. I live in a small and quiet town not far from Moscow. My grandma taught me how to crochet more than 20 years ago. But it has only recently grown into a real passion. I love amigurumis: softies are quite impractical, but always fit their owners and compliment their eye colour. And, oh gosh, they are so sweet and squishy! I’m currently blogging at www.borntocrochetforcedtowork.blogspot.ru and chatting wherever possible.
Always remember: crochet is not a grandma’s craft, it’s an essential post-apocalyptic skill.

Erica Dietz from Five Little Monsters
Hello everyone, my name is Erica, and my blog is called 5 Little Monsters. I live in Salt Lake City, Utah with my husband and our 5 kids (hence the name for my blog). I really enjoy crafting of any kind, but I most frequently crochet, sew or do embroidery. On my blog you’ll find a variety of free crochet patterns, as well as some sewing and embroidery patterns and tutorials. I love seeing the things that people make with my patterns and look forward to sharing more with you.

Kim from PATTCAST.com
Hi, I’m Kim from PATTCAST, and I would love to share two of our team’s freebie patterns with you. What’s different about PATTCAST is that our patterns are in the form of apps, and our approach to patterns is entirely new. We animate the international crochet symbols, so that you see a pattern chart building itself step-by-step before your eyes! Personally, I like charts but printed ones can be confusing, so we break it down for you.
Each app also has its own help wiki for more in-depth instruction, which is accessible at the touch of a button. Another button leads to full kits, so you can make the pattern exactly as shown or in another colorway. Oh! And did I mention that every app we make is available in a native-lefthand version? If you’ve struggled as a leftie, you’ll find our approach really naturally easy to follow. As always, we appreciate your comments about what you like 🙂 and what you’d like to see us improve upon.
