I hope you are all enjoying the September Crochet Toy CAL! I have all the supplies to make my Seal (for my son Drew who is obsessed with Seals!) but I have been so busy these last two months I haven’t been able to take time out to make our last two projects. I still intend on crocheting them though and I will share the finished projects with you as soon as I can 🙂
Today it’s time to decide which project we will make for our October 2017 CAL!
To cast your vote, use the widget at the end of this post. Click on the little heart ♥ in the upper right-hand corner of the photo of the project you want to make and that is all you need to do! The widget will tally all of the votes together and choose the project with the most votes.

If you are new to the Choose Your Own 2017 CAL Adventure, here is what it is about:
For our Crochet With Us CAL Group we have decided to do CALs a little bit differently this year. We have decided to go with the theme of “Choose Your Own 2017 CAL Adventure.”
We polled the CWU CAL group to ask you which types of projects you were most interested in and from your answers we are going to create 1 year of monthly CALs you can participate in. Each month we will give you 3 projects to choose from and you get to vote for your favorite. This will decide the pattern we will make for the month.
The voting will begin on 2nd Saturday of the month prior. You will have 1 week to vote for your favorite project. We will then announce the CAL project on the 3rd Saturday of the month. You will have about 1 week to gather the supplies you will need to make the project and will have the entire month to work on the project, create your project pages in Ravelry, and share your progress in the event created in the CWU CAL Facebook group.

1. Happy Holidays Tree Skirt by Tamara Kelly
Yarn: Approximately 1420 yards of Worsted/Medium Weight Yarn (used in design: Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice Solids, Heathers, & Twists)
Hook: 6.5 mm (K)
Finished Size: 50 inches
2. Christmas Tree Skirt Pattern by Kara Gunza
Yarn: Approximately 1420 yards of Worsted/Medium Weight Yarn (used in design: Bernat Handicrafter)
Hook: 5 mm (H)
Finished Size: 46 inches
3. Granny Stripe Tree Skirt by Jessie Rayot
Yarn: Approximately 2100 – 2200 yards of Worsted/Medium Weight Yarn (used in design: Red Heart With Love)
Hook: 6 mm hook (J)
Finished Size: 56 inches

Remember you can favorite and queue all of these designs for later on Ravelry!
That way if your favorite project wasn’t selected to be worked on in the group you can still work on it at a later date! It could even become a future CAL project if there is interest!
