DK Canadian Editions

This is especially important when you are trying to find supplemental books for your children for things like spelling!

Read my review:  Spell Check, Canadian Edition, for one such example.

To celebrate the launch of these features, DK Canada is hosting a Contest.

Here are the details:

One section of DK Canada’s website which did not need to be changed is the Explore DK Page.  DK Canada would like to make it shiny and new too so they have decided to ask you, their readers, to design a brand new banner for the top of the page!

Specifications:

To enter, all you need to do is create an image (hand drawn, collaged, computer created, however you want) that has the words “EXPLORE” and “Go beyond the book” on it. The rest is up to you.

Image should be 1168 x 353 pixels (if digital) or 21 cm x 6.5 cm (if drawn).

To enter, send a file of your banner to general.dkcanada@dk.com with Explore DK Banner Contest in the subject field. Files should be no larger than 500k. Entries must be received by August 15, 2016.

The winner will not only receive bragging rights, but also their Explore DK design will be featured on our Explore DK page for all to see for the month of September. The creator of the winning design will also receive $100 worth of DK books of their choice!

I can’t wait to see which design is chosen! In the meantime, have fun browsing DK Canada’s beautiful and responsive website!

  1. Hi Rhondda: I love DK books and when my children were young we read a lot of them. I didn’t know that DK now has a Canadian website. I will be checking this out. 🙂 Thanks for posting.

  2. Here at home we have a lot of DK, specially Star Wars and Lego Star Wars. Unfortunately we live in a country that doesn’t sell them, so every time we go to the UK ( sorry Canada is too far away for us) we try to find the ones we want.
