18-inch Doll Clothes Crochet Patterns

The patterns are written in US Crochet terms.

The stitches used for these projects:

• beg – beginning
• ch – chain
• dc – double crochet
• hdc – half double crochet
• lp(s) – loop(s)
• sc – single crochet
• sl st – slip stitch
• tog – together
• tr – treble
• yo – yarn over

You will also be asked to single crochet stitches together (decreases), half double crochet stitches together and double crochet stitches together. There is a note that when you are making color changes to do so on the last yarn over of the last stitch.

Caribbean Cruise for 18-Inch Dolls, #216. Your 18 inch doll such as American Girl, Springfield or similarly sized dolls will be outfitted for shipboard adventure in these four crocheted outfits, made from sport, baby or DK weight yarn:

1. Calypso:  Dress, Head Scarf, Sandals, Shawl.
2. Fun on Deck:  Polka dot and stripes tunic dress, capris, hat and sandals.
3. Swim Suit:  Suit, “straw” hat and matching sandals.
4. Halter Top Maxi Dress:  Dress and shawl.
